Lydex 0.1.45 is on the beta channel

This release brings everything from the past few weeks in one go: a new "For you" home, folder-by-folder library browsing, the experimental Output optimizer, a Lydex Stream cold start of about a second, and a batch of playback stability fixes. The defaults also move closer to bit-perfect: the limiter and clipping guard only act once you turn them on.

The full list of user-visible changes, with no technical detail, is in the changelog.

How to get it

• Google Play (stable): the new build is in Google's review queue. Once it clears, the update arrives on its own.
• Want it now? Join the beta channel. Two steps: join the Google Group lydex-beta@lydexplayer.app, then press "Become a tester" on the Play opt-in page. From then on Play delivers beta builds to you, and every new version reaches you before the stable track. Steps are on the beta page.

Beta and stable are the same Play app, so purchases and licences carry over; you can leave the beta at any time following the instructions on that page.
